
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Administration Managers for a full-time position at Seaview Christian College located in Port Augusta, South Australia.
About the Role
The Administration Manager is accountable to the Principal and in collaboration with the Principal has the prime responsibility of ensuring the effective operational management of the College. This includes overseeing the Finance, Grounds, WHS and Administrative functions of the College. The Administration Manager provides leadership and guidance to the administration team and together with the College leadership team, is responsible for ensuring that policies, processes and procedures at Seaview Christian College are efficient, effective and compliant.
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide Leadership and support to the Administration Team and Property Services at SCC
Oversee all facets of the administration team including Reception, Uniform Shop, Finance, First Aid, Edumate software reporting, Student Services, Marketing & Communications and Information Technology
Liaise with College Principal on matters of human resource management of team members, plus manage personnel reporting requirements for payroll and staff record keeping
Manage temporary teacher staff requirements and class timetabling
Liaise with key teams from the CCM Central office to ensure that Seaview Christian College meets it requirements in the areas of Finance and Budgeting, Compliance and WHS training and auditing, Government reporting, data management on College records system
Contribute to strategic planning of the College, ensuring that the Administrative Team’s focus and processes are aligned to the strategic plan and vision of the College
Ensure all government reporting including Census, STATS, Student Background data and NAPLAN registration data is accurate and submitted by relevant due dates
Build and maintain positive and professional relationships with colleagues, students, parents and the wider community
Disseminate information from CCM Central Office especially relating to Business, Finance, Insurance and Policy information
Liaise with key external stakeholders including Port Augusta Council, cleaning contractors, and other service providers regarding College requirements and obligations
Fulfil duties of Support Safety Advisor with Work Health and Safety
Coordinate on-site College events, including assisting with set-up and clean-up
Conditions of employment are contained in the CCM Schools Enterprise Agreement 2024. Full-time annual salary for the role is in the range $84,945 to $86,726 (July 2026 rates, not including employer superannuation).
Requirements and How to Apply
Suitable applicants must be a person of Christian faith and integrity, actively involved in a local Christian church and able to align with the Statement of Faith, values and ethos of CCM and the College.
Applicants need to have:
Demonstrated and relevant experience in administration, including a practical understanding of staff management and working with a small team to deliver the required services to stakeholders
Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to work and contribute to and lead a team environment as well as effectively liaise and communicate with others as required when working individually
A satisfactory outcome from mandatory screening requirements around suitability to work with children
